फर्जी मोबाइल नंबरों से आए एसएमएम से उपभोक्ता सावधान रहें

 कनेक्शन काटे जाने का संदेश भेजकर उपभोक्ताओं को कर रहे भ्रमित

छत्तीसगढ़ स्टेट पॉवर डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी के संज्ञान में आया है कि उपभोक्ताओं के मोबाइल पर फेक एसएमएस भेजे जा रहे हैं, जिसमें बिजली बिल भुगतान नहीं होने पर कनेक्शन काटने का संदेश लिखा होता है तथा 10 अंकों का फर्जी मोबाइल नंबर से संपर्क करने कहा जाता है। इस नंबर पर फोन करने पर साइबर ठग बिजली कनेक्शन कटने का झांसा देते हैं।
छत्तीसगढ़ स्टेट पॉवर डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी ने अपने उपभोक्ताओं को एसएमएस के जरिए हो रही साइबर ठगी से सावधान रहने को कहा है। कंपनी कभी भी अपने उपभोक्ताओं को 10 अकों के मोबाइल नंबर से कोई मैसेज नहीं भेजती है और न ही 10 अंकों के मोबाइल नंबर पर किसी तरह के भुगतान स्वीकार किया जाता है। कभी किसी लिंक को क्लिक करने के लिए कहती है और न ही श्मोर बिजली ऐपश् के अलावा किसी ऐप को डाउनलोड करने या उपयोग करने को कहती है।
साइबर ठग उपभोक्ता नंबर के बजाय उपभोक्ता का मोबाइल नंबर मांगते हैं और भुगतान संबंधी जानकारी देने की बात कहते हैं। साथ ही ये प्ले स्टोर में जाकर किसी एप को डाउनलोड करने कहते हैं, जिससे उपभोक्ता धोखाधड़ी का शिकार हो सकते हैं।
उपभोक्ताओं से आग्रह किया गया है कि बिजली संबंधी सभी भुगतान विद्युत वितरण कंपनी के काउंटरों, एटीपी सेंटरों, मोर बिजली ऐप, कंपनी की वेबसाइट cspc.co.in अथवा सीएससी या पेय प्वाइंट के अधिकृत आउटलेट्स पर ही करें। इनके अलावा किसी दूसरे माध्यम से किसी भी तरह की राशि का भुगतान न करें। छत्तीसगढ़ स्टेट पावर डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी द्वारा बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को सूचनार्थ भेजे जाने वाले अधिकृत एसएमएस हमेशा सीएसपीडीसीएल सेन्डर आई डी के साथ भेजे जाते हैं। इसके अलावा कंपनी ने अपने सभी उपभोक्ताओं को ऐसे किसी भी अनाधिकृत एस. एम. एस. को नज़र अंदाज़ करने की सलाह दी है। इसके अलावा कंपनी की टोल फ्री नंबर 1912 पर संपर्क कर अपने संदेह का समाधान कर सकते हैं।
